Cloud Computing, the buzz word of the last year.

The media is full of hype, advice for executives, seminars and strategy briefings http://www.cloudessential.com/briefings/executive_briefings.html. IDC are promoting ‘a new initiative by HP, Intel, and Yahoo! to deploy a "test bed" for the development of cloud computing systems and applications’ http://www.idc.com/getdoc.jsp?containerId=213757.

A Google search for Cloud Computing provides us with page upon page of advice and warnings but...

‘What is cloud computing? What's it for, who might want it, and how does it work?’

These are just some of the questions that we answer in our brand new Jargon Buster, which includes an introduction by editorial director Manek Dubash, and a forensic examination of the issues by Yankee Group VP and analyst Camille Mendler.
